We’d like to take a moment to tell you about a condition affecting millions of people all over the world. It’s called fear of missing out, also known as FOMO.
If you think you have FOMO in regards to your young athlete’s sports team, the TeamSnap mobile app for iOS or Android is the perfect cure for what ails you. Here’s why!
Catch All the Action
One of the primary causes of FOMO is the possibility of missing a big game. And, unfortunately, it’s inevitable. Work emergencies, car trouble, Netflix binge watches that go into overtime—these things happen. The good news is, with TeamSnap Live! you won’t miss a thing.
TeamSnap Live! is sort of like a personal chat room for your team. Plus, it’s built into our mobile apps, no matter what plan you choose. Team members can update the score, send live game photos and post color commentary, all with a few taps. You’ll get these updates instantly so you feel like you’re at the game, even while you’re away.
Get Directions in the App
You’ll definitely fear missing out if you can’t find the field, court, or rink. And if you use handwritten, photocopied and/or coffee-stained directions, getting lost is a serious possibility. Instead, try heading to the Schedule tab on your TeamSnap mobile app.
With our app, you’ll have directions to every game, no matter where you are. Just tap the address in TeamSnap, select your navigation app of choice and forget your FOMO.
Sync Your Schedule
On our iOS app, you’ll notice a button labeled “Add Schedule to iOS Calendar” at the bottom of the screen. Just tap that button and you’ll instantly have all your TeamSnap events on your built-in phone calendar. If you’re on Android or prefer Google Calendar, Outlook or Cozi, just log into our handy dandy web app and head to the Schedule tab. Click “Sync Schedule” and choose your calendar app.
Well done. You’ve found the cure for FOMO!
