How a T-Shirt Boosts My Mood

There are some comments that can really make you feel good about yourself. Everyone likes hearing things like, “You look nice today. Did you do something different with your hair?†or “Have you been working out? You look great.â€
Or how about when you’re in a casual conversation with someone and they light up when you mention something that isn’t as boring as what you’ve been talking about for the past 10 minutes?
Me: “Speaking of knitting leg warmers, I just signed up for the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon.”
Friend (who suddenly snaps out of her daze): “Wow, I didn’t know you were a runner!â€
That’s how it’s been since I started working at TeamSnap.
When I mention that I work at TeamSnap, the person I’m talking with lights up and tells me stories about how their kid’s team uses it and how they’d be lost without it. Then they say, “You work there? That’s so cool.â€
I love hearing these stories. At TeamSnap, our focus is on the customer, so when I talk to customers in real life who are excited to tell me how much they love our product, it really makes my day. I get the same feeling when I wear my TeamSnap gear. It never fails that a stranger will approach me about it.
Random Person: “I noticed your sweatshirt. We’ve used TeamSnap for years and love it.”
Me: “That’s great; I’m glad to hear it! I work there.”
Random Person: “No way! That’s so cool.”
Me: “Yep, it is so cool. I love my job.â€
So whenever I’m in need of a little positive reinforcement, I put on my TeamSnap shirt and head out to run errands. It works every time!
