College Recruiting 101

Plenty of kids who play youth sports – from tee ball at the local rec center to the high school varsity water polo team – dream of playing in college (and beyond!). And while the numbers are not necessarily on everyone’s side, there are smart ways to turn a promising youth sports career into something big.

One of them? Simply being prepared for the possibility.

That’s why TeamSnap has partnered with NCSA College Recruiting, the largest college recruiting network, with more than 40,000 college coaches across more than 35 sports. Parents and young athletes aged 13 to 18 who join NCSA also get access to comprehensive recruiting resources and seasoned experts who understand the confusing, competitive landscape of college recruiting.

How does the TeamSnap + NCSA partnership work?

If your child plays an NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) sport, you’ll automatically see an offer from NCSA when they join a team.

You can also find the NCSA invitation in the More menu. Just scroll to “Recruiting”

NCSA + TeamSnap

When you tap on the NCSA link, you’ll be prompted to set up a free recruiting profile, and someone from NCSA will contact you directly about managing the process.
