If you’re familiar with TeamSnap, you already know how useful we are for sports. But did you know TeamSnap supports any type of group or activity?

Just ask the football boosters for Simon Fraser University, Canada’s only NCAA football team.

“If you have to work with a diverse group of people—especially like us since we’re an international group (Canadian, American and beyond), communication is super easy with TeamSnap. Use your computer or phone; everything you need is at your fingertips,” says Casondra, booster member and mother of player Tank Brewster.

SFU Football Boosters are made up of 450 parents of players and fans, spread globally. The group uses TeamSnap to help promote events, activities and fulfill their mission to support the football team and welcome fans into the greater football family. Having seen their biggest growth this year, booster member Casondra Brewster expressed excitement for the future, adding, “We definitely love our football team.”

How SFU Football Boosters Stay Organized with TeamSnap

“Game-day communication to an international audience was frazzled and slow until we got TeamSnap,” says Casondra.

Now equipped with TeamSnap, the Boosters rely on the app to simplify communication and share information with their hundreds of members scattered across the world. TeamSnap saves the SFU Boosters frustration and headaches, giving them back time to focus on what really matters, Clan football.

“When the Boosters are on the go, there’s no time for email. Using TeamSnap to get the latest information on everything Boosters is so easy and helpful when plans change at the last minute, like weather, updated game time, new tailgate location, etc.,” says Casondra.

While the Boosters enjoy many of TeamSnap’s features, it’s clear the overall favorite is Messaging due to their broad member list and need for instant communication.

“Messaging is super useful and a favorite of the whole Booster Clan,” says Casondra. “When the team is away, not everyone can make the game; getting information about the live-stream or where the Boosters should gather to sit is wonderful.”

Whether it’s football boosters, soccer or chess club, we have you covered. You play it, we support it—from youth and adult teams to recreational and competitive teams, to everything in between. Log in or sign up to add your team now.
